Ok, we have the fat club so how about the skinny club? I don’t mean to be rude or rub it in but this can be for people like me who are stick thin and would like a bit more muscle.

So any great STW muscle gaining tips or is it just down the gym and eating lots of tuna? Anyone want to join the skinny club?

I’m in! I have to get up to 18st, by June, to be in Ton’s riding team.

Currently 9st wet through. I plan a regime of pies, cakes and beer. It’s going to be very hard, but I’ll just have to be strong.

Ton, if I lived with you for a month, a year, I tell you, you wouldn’t see any change. Been skinny all me life, no matter what I eat.

I weigh 9 1/2 stone, 5’11. I don’t want to be fat, just a bit more muscle so eating and sitting isn’t an option.

Blimey, Alwyn! That’s 6 1/2″ taller than me, and only a litle bit heavier! You got worms?? 😯

maybe I’m not suitably qualified to join the club, 5’11 but about 10 stone 5. I know I’ll loose weight first then I can join in!

I’ll be joining this one. Can’t put weight on tosa ve my life. Just eaten a massive roast and now eating some doritos and dip. Mrs hates it. 6′ and 10st – ridiculous. Do you boney boys/girls find you burn out quite quickly? I’m done after an hour and half uniless I eat along the way

No, I train for triathlon so do a lot of running, swimming and long distance cycling. It doesn’t matter how many weights I do I cannot build muscle. Yes I’m the same I have to eat a lot of I feel tried, especially during exercise.

Taff, interesting you say that. I find I burn out quickly too unless I keep shoveling food down my neck, same also happens whilst hillwalking.

5ft 9 and about 9 3/4 stone my mate always thinks i am faster due to power to weight ratio I always point out that his weight alone on the pedal is more force than i can exert.

I always have to carry loads on any long rides. Scoffed a fair few flapjacks at the Dyfi! Thank god for decent energy gels nowadays though

6ft1 and 10 and a half stone. been that weight for years and nothing really changes it as eating more and giving up cycling would just mean a pot belly and less muscle in my legs.
was a 28 in waist years ago but now can’t wear any old trousers as my glutes(but cheek muscles) and upper thighs are too big. bmi is 20 so borderline malnourished/see your G.P. but as with most cyclists i probably have a better diet and am fitter than a lot of other people.

i do suffer from burnout quite quickly so constantly crave carbs when cycling

It’s actually relieving to find so many bonebags like me who suffer from burnout while riding. I’ve been a thryoxine dependant for past 4 years and only eally noticed it then and never in my youth so put it down to the medication. ANyway, where’s that pasty….
