How many concussions has he had this season?
Given evidence of the effects of concussion everyone should stop playing rugby ir any other contact sport.

Why? Has he assessed North? If nkt he should be professio al enough to keep his gob shut imo.

I have no idea how many he has actualy had, but unless I’m mistaken he’s had two high profile ones and one which was brushed off.

As for getting the concussions – maybe he should go for technique over muscle.

It involved muscle over technique and I would say that i undoubtedly involved concussion given the mechanism of injury.

It seems to me that 3 or 4 concussions in as many weeks, is going to be something to be concerned about.

I’m sure you are and he is seeing a consultant neurosurgeon asap and did after the incidents with Wales I would expect this person knows better than us whats best and also has a duty of care.

Its that simple for pitch side best practise balancing probabilities and risk. Its not for actual diagnosis of extent. Every tackle and impact has concussive effects.

The Brown one is actually more worrying considering he played again and recieved no more major blows.

The fact that North has been sparked by obviously major blows is worrying but it would be much more worrying if he was been sparked by smaller impacts as started happening to Hape.

I was at some training the other week with a bloke called Tim Gill who was teaching us about risk/benefit assessments and safety issues for kids involved in organised play. It was actually really good stuff and full of common sense.

Anyway, one stat he pulled up about the number of kids attending a&e per hour of activity that illustrated how few kids got injured in playgrounds also showed – if you want your kids to go to a&e, rugby is by far the most effective method.

It certainly was for me. My mum reckons she picked me up from a&e more times than the club house!!

I am aware that you have some affinity to the Orange one, I have no idea of your actual orientation, and I frankly don’t care. This is 2015, we are all free to have any kind of sexuality and it just is not a big deal which of those you are aligned with. If you make a big deal out of it, you are perputuating the prejudice.
Essentially by being insulted that I said you fancied North, you are saying “Gay? Who me? No not me? It is an insult to call me gay”. That makes you homophobic.
Or if you are gay, then there is nothing to be insulted about, he is nice looking chap with a body to die for, and comes across as being rather charming.
