I must have sold at least 200 pairs of Spesh shoes, and never saw any do that.

They did warranty some 5 year old Pro Carbon shoes of mine (ratchet tore out of the shoe), that I bought on closeout, and replaced them with S-Works ones.

Easily the best company I’ve dealt with, by a good margin. The only company where I’d have no qualms when people ask what the warranty’s like!

Pop into a store and have a look at the rear of the BG sports. Look at the point where the sole meets the upper- is there a tiny gap? Most of the ones I looked at had this. I had to chose the best of a bad bunch when I bought my latest pair.

I’ve no idea, but like I say, I sold hundred of pairs (and BG Sports were by far the most common) and never saw a pair do that.

Don’t really get why you think they’re the worst thing ever, and yet keep buying them 😕

No I thought they were utterly amazing. Until a couple of years ago. Then the QC took a noticeable dive. The styling looked subtlety different from previous but from the last two years they are made badly.

I’ve had a bad product experience and then brilliant service from Rockshox, Turner etc. Where the Distributor and/or shop wowed me.

Well just to flatter their ego a little further:

I bought a 2010 Stumpjumper FSR in Jan 2010 & it wasn’t long before there were flecks of lacquer coming off. I didn’t really worry about it until they started getting bigger & more of them. I wouldn’t have minded but they were in places very unlikely to be damaged by rock strikes/scrapes etc.

I took it back to the shop I got it from & they were sceptical but said they’d contact Specialized. There were no more aluminium frames left, so I was told I could wait for a 2011 frame or pay £50 to upgrade to the carbon frame with Brain shock. So that’s what I did.
Well pleased. Whole process couldn’t have taken longer than a few weeks at most.

Never tried their shoes, but their gloves, tops, tights all seem well put together & have lasted well. Their helmets don’t seem to suit my head shape.
    Tyres work great too.

Where did your Sirrus develop a crack? i’d be interested to check that area myself.

    This is the thing.

Specialized shorts, shoes and gloves fit the BEST.

But if you USE them they seperate and fall apart. Great kit in Utah but crap in a wet UK.

Their frames are great. Forks are ****, no idea on their tyres.

Love the BG shoes, deflect gloves.
Got a captain tyre on the front and control on back of my Kona, brilliant. Better than the old High Rollers they replaced.
Love my old 90’s steel Hardrock with child seat and mudguards.
Broke An M2 and M4 stumpjumper both replaced immediately.
Just wish they would bring Stumpy FSR Evo in XL to the UK.
