    Lovely pics – is that along the tops, scald law etc? Must have been hard work getting up – well worth it by the looks.

    going up from Penicuik/A702 to the col between scald law and carnethy, then over carnethy and the singletrack back round it to join the A702 again.
    More carrying than normal and sank to my thighs a couple of times.
