Which size wheel will be best for starting out on? Thinking of getting one for Crimbo as there is nothing I need, but quite fancy a niche fixie!

    Anyone?

Or is this too niche for here (and I can’t believe it is – it’s got odd sized wheels, different setup, fixie stuff & everything!)?

I found 24 easier to learn – you have more time to correct

Some folks say 20″ is easier i disagree

Also for general cruising 24″ is faster without your legs goin mental – its a full on all over body work out

    Mines needs new cranks 🙁

I’ve a plan to do something like this for charity.

Set a target in terms of distance and Unicycle to the target, however I’ve never ridden one so would be learning on the route!

Thanks chaps. The e-bay aution looks good, but I’m guessing that’s going to go beyond my ‘beginner budget’!

Yeah, Schlumpf unicycles are a bit silly – great fun, though. Or would be if I could ride a unicycle!

Most people learn on a 20 and they are much more readily available. You’ll need several if you get into it anyway

    Indeed i wanted a 26.

Then my 24 broke an i just hung it up and forgot about it

Might have to get a new crank for it
