Can’t seem to get building a SS out of my mind, would also probably try this Rigid thing (Carbon Fork).

I have been watching these threads about 69ers/96ers with interest as well.

It will probably not happen, but just in case STW must have loads to look at.

AndrewMoke, that’s a de-stickered Kona Unit (2006 I think) If you ride a 16in frame JE James had a few 07 models left at a good price (black though, not poo brown!)

actually it’s a 2004 Kona Explosif (before they started messing with the geometry), re-sprayed poo brown :o)

Here is my current fave. Frame and forks are only $550+shipping and designed by Mark Slate (WTB founder and all round bike guru!) Really differnent 29er geometry that should not work…but it does!
