the "rear mech" is a very old skool sunn dh chain tensioner it's bb mounted ,,

These threads always make me want to SS my bike again! 1×9 is good but I still get skipping issues and dropped chains over bumpier stuff (plus gears look messy). It gets worse when the mud piles on. Convince me why I should/shouldn't go ss 😆

jimjimthehumanbin2- yes!!! found out that the strange shim that brought it down to 1" 8th was cutting into my forks and I had to get the GT forks u see in the pic! Shim is now sitting right!!! 😀
