It's getting dark and I have given up to have a beer, so I am asking the STW hive mind.
What is the secret to getting these rubber grommets back into an Orange Stage Evo frame without ripping them up?
I thought I have done the difficult bit by rethreading gear and brake cable, only to be stumped by plugs of rubber, which I can tell I am starting to rip up when I push back in with a screwdriver.

I share your pain. One in an even more inaccessible place on a Deviate frame has defeated me. Prob best done before cable inserted but if cables what’s dislodging then don’t know.

No experience on an Orange but in general I lube them up with silicone lube (as used for push fit waste pipe) then ease them in by finger or thumb. Grease may work but I’m never sure whether it will eat the grommet over time. Lube helps with most insertions

Rubber_Buccaneer , with a forum name like that, I doff my hat to your experience in such matters. I do have Silicone grease and will try that at first light.

Maybe late for you now, I put them in warm water to soften up too.

I also favour a pick rather than screwdriver as the prodding can be a bit more precise.
