Getting in early and making sure the exclamation marks are done properly.

He’s obviously going to run against Trump for the nomination and likely win, right?

However, after seeing a bit of his speech earlier I am full of questions, so many questions.

He’s very angry at some bloke, I mean freaky angry. This bloke has really p****d him off and he says that this bloke is going to die in Florida, he’s going to war against this bloke in fact. This bloke he is on about must be really dangerous or he’s shagged his dog or something.

Keep an eye out for this bloke is all I’d say, and pray for him. Slings like DeSantis is going to play duty on this one. Very dirty. Dirty DeSantis in fact.*

    *Stone me later.

    Sounds overly desanctimonius to me.

He’s a perfect fit for the Republicans. Shallow, vindictive, corrupt, thin-skinned, people-trafficking bully.

    Plus the boots.

Now he’s worth throwing an ostrich egg at.

I read somewhere that the large amount of Cubans tend to very republican in Florida.

Ron DeSantis: “Florida is where woke goes to die”. (Guardian, 2022)

I think he does not like woke (whoever they are). LOL!

I’m skeptical that he can beat Trump. Yes, he’s won convincingly in Florida, but Florida is a weird place and it’s not clear that his stunts will do him much good in other states. Trump currently has the Republican base strongly behind him and has crushed every previous challenger – it’s the base voters that matter in the primaries, not the overall electorate. Even if DeSantis can beat Trump to the nomination, Trump will almost certainly refuse to concede and I think he would run as an independent just to torpedo DeSantis in the general election.

    Its Don V Ron…

However Ron is not rust belt vote bait…

This really could cripple the GOP…

They have him listed in the NY post(yeah them, and no effing surprise) as a navy hero.

As i understand it he’s legal specialist, mainly dealing with places like Guantanamo bay, so he’s probably overseeing torture facilities. Hardly heroic.

Now what would be interesting is if the republican house majority is unwilling to shut down the Capitol Riot investigation, because they want rid of trump 😂

Agree about Desantis not being the rust belt hero trump was

@dyna-ti Was he not in the legal branch? As in A Few Good Men?

Interesting indeed! I wonder if the committee is sending out requests to republicans who have so far refused to cooperate with the investigation? Perhaps a few would care to ‘refresh’ their memories in relation to what hapened leading up to Jan 6th?

Pence is releasing his book on the same day that Trump is due to announce wether he’s going to run again.

I also fixed his campaign, which had completely fallen apart. I was all in for Ron, and he beat Gillum, but after the Race, when votes were being stolen by the corrupt Election process in Broward County, and Ron was going down ten thousand votes a day, along with now-Senator Rick Scott, I sent in the FBI and the U.S. Attorneys, and the ballot theft immediately ended, just prior to them running out of the votes necessary to win. I stopped his Election from being stolen…

Quote from Trump regarding DeSantis’ 2017 election campaign Here.

IANAL, but isn’t that all a bit, well; illegal?

To know what Trump’s next move will be, we have to understand where the grift is in all this.

If he thinks he can make more money standing as an independent then he’ll do it. He cares even more about money than he does revenge.

Do you reckon? Tough call, regardless but I expect they’re 1 and 2 on his list of virtues.

Would love it if he tore the GOP apart.

    Very perceptive.

He does love a big fundraising push. It’ll be interesting to see if “the base” has pulled back from him along with the elites. I suspect it’s not a clear-cut yes or no at this point.

I’ve read 4-5 books now on Trump’s Presidency, and pretty much the only take away from all of them when it comes to Trump’s motivation, it’s that nothing is decided until it’s decided, and that can be as Trump actually speaks it in front of the TV reporters, sometimes (he’s admitted) he doesn’t really have a plan or a goal, or an end point because until the words are said, there often isn’t one

Essentially a reporter said that Trump is the most unknowable person she’d ever met, mostly because (it eventually dawned on her) Trump doesn’t  know himself particularly well.
