Riding in Switzerland – any expats out there?

Hi,
I move to Zurich a couple of months ago and have been eagerly waiting for the snow and ice to melt and get out riding. Problem is getting trail info seems tricky if you don’t speak the lingo and I know no-one who is remotely interested in mountian biking. Can anyone help? I’m looking for riding partners, groups (happy to start setting one up if necessary), english mags produced locally (Zurich region)…
Any insider knowledge would be gratefully received…

There is a great race series (if you like that kind of thing) run by a bunch of guys called the iXS Swiss Bike Classic – very tough XC over them big Swiss Alps but with some killer routes & distances varying from 50k alll the way upto 125k+..

Im not in Zurich by the way so cant help more than that Im afraid.
