I have a set of ancient fox 32s (I’d guess maybe 2006/7). They seem to go up and down ok, but the adjustment dials are all stuck and oil is passing the wiper seal on the rhs. I’d like to stick them on a kids bike so not too bothered about the adjustment, but would like to stop the oil leaking.

Is that just a case of replacing the wipers (can I even get them?) or is there likely to be something else gone? On the plus side, the oil is clean and the stantions look OK 🙂

There will be oil seals beneath the wipers, these “should” be a standard size, and if you’re really lucky will have the dimensions printed on them (inner diameter x outer diameter x width) pull the old seals, replace with new, and new wiper seals if they exist fresh oil and you’re good to go.

Turns out they are 2009 (don’t know why I didn’t think to check the fox website sooner). Seal kit ordered 👍
