Shame it wasn’t a Superstar bottom bracket. We could have been here ’til Christmas.

I still don’t get the idea that an extra 20mm up front will make you ride harder. I think that idea is bollox. Rest if the thread good though!

150mm bikes are for wimps, just do it all on a 100mm full sus, the rocks are the same they have always been, and i rememberer riding them with some shity RST’s with about 2mm of travel back in the day..:)

140/100mm. the sooner folk start churning out bikes set up like this, the better.Everytime i like the look of a bike or try a bike.. i want to fit a longer fork than standard.Over the past 5 years theres been quite a few frames that ride chit with the same amount of travel up front as the rear, only to be bettered by fitting what they said wouldnt work.

Oh now I see what all the fuss is about, frame looks sweet, not sure about the colour.

    ragleyrider:

    Re bottoming your fork out.

Your fork should be getting ‘full travel’ otherwise you may as well have less travel.
The good thing about air forks is they can be tuned for each ride, or set up then left at a happy medium. I have less air in my fork for a ride at cannock than I do for a ride over helvellyn for instance, not by much mind.

If you’re bottoming out hard, on every other rock etc you may want to look at set up.
Make sure you have enough air in, or the correct weight spring.
Also, check the rebound is correct so the the fork isnt ‘packing down’ and has time to get some extension back before it takes another hit.

And for calderdale, you dont NEED big travel forks, you may WANT them though. (Yes I ride there, for the last 15 years or so)

It still says end of March this morning.

    Something is broken.

I will get someone to poke it with a stick.

It still says “Due In Stock 25/03/2011” right this moment!
