I wonder how many sets they had to sell, I imagine MTB forums all over EU are also pointing other workshy folk at these brakes and theyve been on offer for a while now.

I ordered 2 sets of silvers, but just called to change one set to black. Fantastic service and unlike CRC, the person at the end of the phone was very helpful and sorted it out right away.

NEVER had a problem with CRC when phoned. Always been very helpful. (For balance, like)

Fair enough – only ever had to call them once and it was a painful experience!

I think the STW massive must have pretty much cleared them out of stock!

was just gonna say, they dony look to pretty on the bike…thought they would look better than that! the old ones looked outdated, but the new ones look pretty awful full stop 🙁

Function over form, I suppose. I quite liked the look of the old ones. As long as they do the job, I’m happy enough,

the xtr ones look nice, though whether or not they do on a bikes another thing, as i thought the new xt ones looked pretty decent on the site

The XTR’s look acceptable, but the cost difference isn’t!

Shieeet. I think brakes are one thing where I’d choose performance over looks.

Lemme put it this way: I’d choose the looks of my face over the looks of my bike. Only just, but still.

Had to order silver ones this morning as they were out of the black ones by the time i made it to checkout.

Not worried about what they look like – its defo an item of function over form.

Mine just turned up and I think they look brilliant.

Love the new lever.

Came with 2 new olives and inserts a rear 160 adapter and a free mug.

3 days from ordering to delivery. That in my book is perfect Internet service.

I think they are 66GBP and 63GBP plus a fiver delivery to the UK.
You don’t get discs or caliper mounts.

Nor did mine, or a mug. I bought a set of Xt brakes, an XTR bb and some new deore platform pedals and all I got was a reflective snap band (and excellent value for money)
