Which is approximately how long punk lasted. 90% of punk was unoriginal, derivative garageband r’n’b. I know, I bought a lot of the singles, and saw a fair number of the bands, and apart from a very select few, like the Pistols, Clash, Jam, etc, most band died a very deserved early death. I did see Floyd, at Bristol Hippodrome, Winter Tour 74, the Wish You Were Here tour, when they did DSOTM, along with Shine On You Crazy Diamond, Raving And Drooling, and You’ve Got To Be Crazy, which later became Pigs and Sheep, IIRC, on Animals.
Still got my comic book programme, around $250 on eBay these days.
