Not sure if this’d is a regular deal they do, but to get the chest and cabinet for less than the cost of the chest alone seems like a good deal to me.

Anyone know if the cabinet will fit on top of the chest?

This deal comes up every so often

Its a fantastic set for the price, the Black professional set at £300 on offer is definitely bigger and better quality that the red professional set that they do for about £200 when on offer, and that is exponentially better than the £100ish one that is really tinny and IMO not worth it.

I got a red one for myself, and a black one for my dad a bit before he passed away – the only drawback with the black one over the red is that the black one has really shallow drawers on the top half – that would be great if you were doing car maintenance etc, with lots of spanners and screwdrivers, but the red one has two nice big deep drawers at the bottom, which are much better for lights, inner tubes, bulky boxed tyres, saddles, spare parts etc. I think the black one has a lot less ‘usable’ space for the home bike mechanic

Makes it easier for thieves to wheel away all your expensive tools when they come to twock your bikes.

Yep, that is a concern! May look to attach it in some fashion to one of the ground anchors

If you only want it in one place, you can just take the wheels off or beach it. Though you might regret that once it’s full of tools!

EH!! As opposed to just buying 2 FOR THE PRICE OF 1 = a grand sum of 300 quid from Halfords?

Anyone know if the cabinet will fit on top of the chest? Yes it does.

I purchased this set last year when it was on offer for £409.98 so you’re getting a real bargain.

Been really pleased with it and would recommend it.

For 300 quid ,its a cracking deal we use em in the workshop and last time they were 400 quid

In fact if anyone is looking for a box we have a Clarke HD top box going spare now ,it doesn’t match any of the others which considering my OCD is a bit harsh as its a good box but brand new and unmarked

    Cheapish at 75 quid

I went in for a drool (no intention of buying) and came out with four packs of foam tile flooring, on offer, two packs for £20. (normally £15 each)

It has transformed my dusty concrete garage floor and I ended up going back for a couple more packs so I could lay it wall to wall rather than a mat down the middle 🙂

8.64 sq metres for £60. Suitable for use over damp floors too which is useful as the rain comes under both doors and also through the roof…

Nice one pieman. Now I need to figure out in my head how my workroom is going to look when I’ve finished it, so as to see where the boxes are going to sit. Original plan was to use wall boards for a lot of the tools so time now for some re-evaluation.

Just finished putting the wheels on mine, incredible value for money.
Not sure wether or not to keep the spanners, mind you every man needs a 32mm spanner 😀

Damn you guys. I am tempted by this now as I’m getting fed up having loads of tool boxes.

For anyone without lots of tools already this seems like an excellent deal: http://www.halfords.com/motoring/garage-equipment?partnumber=615314,303468,250365&sort=price-high-to-low&cm_re=banner-_-motoring+Pages-_-workshop%20bundle

Just back; seems that the online system lags behind the store stock system and they didn’t have stock of the larger unit shown in bigshep’s photo but they should have it by the end of the week.

Got 10% off for my inconvenience so can’t complain at all at what I’m getting for £180 even if it means another round trip.

    Thanks for the PSA kevin1911!
