cheers everyone theyre all providing me with some good ideas. Some really nice looking bikes out there. Ive got to admit to having a bit of a soft spot for rock lobsters as i used to own one. I think memories of good times on that bike are what made me buy the sanderson. I really like the bars on graemejones’ ti on one aswell. what are they?

What you getting now?

They’re the pipedream rigid forks, 450mm a-c so slightly longer than the norm for 26er rigids.

I always look at these threads to see if my old Genesis Altitude will pop up. I miss that frame.

Not strictly mine….actually my wife’s Ashton Court bike…yep….one bike for one trail, and it’s perfect although please excuse the temporary long stem!!!

’10 Genesis Altitude. Curiously, I’ve not ridden this since the 31st of July 2010, but I might … might take it out this weekend – I’m very tempted to dump the suspension and just whack in some rigid 29er forks instead, as I’m not keen on suspension …

It’s not really quite that freakish, that camera has a peculiarly odd sense of perspective, and it’s a rubbish angle for the shot anyway.
