Anyway moving on. I don’t see how he can walk away from this, the prosecution will want the pre-meditated murder charge but will find it hard to stick.
From what the judge says so far its not going to be murder (which is what I thought he’d get).
I have to say this must be quite difficult for all concerned as she spends a huge amount of time reading her statement when what people want to hear is the verdict.

Guilty as sin IMHO. Probably why I’m not a judge.
No question, if he gets away with it and I was her father, I’d invite him round for a bit of good old SA truth and reconciliation give him a couple of drinks, then when he goes to the bathroom mistake him for an intruder.
I reckon he’ll be found innocent, then fed to the sharkticons.

It’s like reality TV isn’t it. They should start by saying “TL;DL- GUILTY!” then do all the bollocks.
Culpable homicide – judge made the point that he was thinking when aiming lower down rather that upper torso hence intended to discharge the firearm. There will be a degree of neglience so 10 – 15years your honour.
She was coming back to that but its now adjourned.
Expect a legal appeal .. Is this another OJ SImpson case but with less money involved ?
I was in South Africa on the day it happened. In all the business meetings I had in the days that followed, the universal opinion of South Africans was: “‘Royd rage.”
Why do they have to read out the summary of the trial? Shurely you should give your verdict and publish the summary afterward, seems quite cruel to take such a long and drawn out procedure.
