Looks like I should be on for this – it’ll be my first STW ride since a STW Sherwood Pines gathering!

Looks good to me. Hope my tyres are up to the job though! I only have summer tyres as I don’t ride in the winter much and just make do if I go out on the odd ride!

Pook is it possible that a group could go down Pindale and the other go down Cavedale then regroup? That way everyone is happy and people can decide ‘on the day’ how fruity they feel?

Cavedale from top to bottom is a lovely long descent. Yes there can be walkers but tbh theres not that many actually on the rocky section.

2.4 ADvantage would be ideal I reckon.

Failing that (and more realistic) whatever’s on your bike 😉

NBT.. the 2.4 ADvantage give 14.89% more drag than their slimmer sisters I think its only fair to factor in this drag co-efficient when making a selection. I might have to pre ride the route and leave suitable tyres dotted around allowing me to be on the best rubber at the right time…

Pook – How about sending a one-man group down one way, then the rest of you can ride off in the other direction? I didn’t have anyone in particular in mind. Just anyone who seems to be doing the most moaning about routes, frames, forks, conditions, weather, rocks, tyres, air density, ethnic mix of the group, …….

@Bunnyhop, it depends.. most likely i’ll just be bringing the compact if i can make it however if the weather’s looking interesting i might bring the big camera. (I’ve posted in the photos of the last month thread with some recent bits)
