    In your bib-tights?

I’m on the hunt for some nice warm/water-resistant bib-tights and I’m seeing some with no pads. What’s the perceived advantage?

Wear them over your favourite shorts.

Or on their own if they have padding.

My fave shorts are bib-shorts. Bib tights over then would be a tad silly, methinks.

unpadded bib-longs worn over padded bib-shorts here, padded longs just never feel as, er, connected to me

I like to wear shorts under them too as otherwise they seem to have a sagging gusset.

no pad. superman style for me – bib longs up close and personal, bib shorts over the top. think i started doing that when an old pair of longs went a bit baggy round the erse area and snagged on saddle.

    shorts underneath

that way you can have a full on winter, winter and wuss pair without spending so much money

So – shorts over or under, unpadded longs?

    Weird…
