A few months ago someone said that Orro would be next……..and unfortunately…..feel for the folks let go. They had recently moved to swanky new premises near Hailsham

Very sad news for the staff involved… Heard this earlier today and then the industry press releases came too. Here’s hoping they get paid at least!

I’m not sure how this affects Orro…articles imply it’s the staff at distributor i-ride that have been made redundant.

Will Orro be treated as a going concern/asset to be sold/refinanced or is it tied into the I-ride administration?

Drive past the premises on the way to work. Got to be honest once the general downturn in the industry started I thought it’d just be a matter of time. Feel sorry for the staff. They’d been advertising for mechanic/assemblers recently and it did cross my mind to apply.

They’ve been selling off OEM groupsets for the last year or so, which suggests they over ordered parts for bikes which never got built.. We bought a couple of SRAM AXS groupsets from them.

Good news for Oreo and it’s associated staff but I presume that everyone else at i-ride is not covered by the buy out, which is a shame.

Orro’s MD was i-Ride’s MD when they went under.
