Old-fashioned Paper Diaries

I have enjoyed using Paperblanks (Midi-sized), as I really love their lay-out and the whole historic, artistic aesthetic up the diaries, but I have also been known to revert to my black leather holder by Collins and to refill it with the Collins Elite Executive week-to-view. I like both for different reasons.

The Collins ensemble has a pen holder attached, as well as heavy-duty plastic sleeves for receipts and calling cards and things, together a helpful notepad. It means I can literally leave the house with nothing but it in my possession, and be equipped for most eventualities. The Paperblanks, on the other hand, actually fits in my bag or rucksack, gives me more space to carry books, and remains simple to use while still offering things to look at when my mind wanders.

Are there options I’m missing? If you’re a traditional diary user, what do you recommend?

I have just been given a Moleskine A5, page per day diary. 

Lovely. That will do nicely.

Get a Filofax and buy refills every year. There’s still something nice about them.

I’ve got Christmas year planners for a couple of people fromWTF Notebooks. There are loads of custom options all made to order. I’ve gone for the hardbacks instead of spiral bound and they’re really nice quality

My family are getting age appropriate WTF Notebooks as stocking fillers. My boss is getting a very inappropriate one for work.

A4 page to a day from who ever does our office supplies.

It ain’t flashy but it keeps my head from becoming a shed.

Few of my colleagues have been using those electronic notes pads with varying degrees of success but it’s not for me

Aye,the Molskine notebooks are ace.
I even keep mine in a holder(SnugBook) to stop the pages getting battered.

I don;t use a traditional diary for work – I buy a gridded/dotted notebook and do the layout by hand nicking some idea from bullet Journaling.

‘Cos I’m a stationery geek, I use Karst stone paper notebooks. They do various planner/journal format too so might be something there for you?
