Amazing, not sure my nerves can take another game like most of the ones so far.

Makes the India and SA games more exciting too 🙂

It strikes me that what we need for the next round rather than knock-out QFs is a Super 8 stage like last time - we'd be top of the table going into that, given we've only lost against teams not making it through!

well that was a particularly pathetic effort from the West Indies... sheesh...

Got to give credit to ****stan though - yeah WI were poor but I think many teams might have struggled against that bowling (definitely England playing against all that spin 😉 ).

You watching the big game today then psychle? I'm hoping Punter gets out early and throws another strop. 😀

Fair play to him - I think he's quite childish and petulant a lot of the time, but he's certainly faced up to all the criticism he's had very well, and made big runs when it really matters.

Except that it didn't really matter in the end. 😛

India vs ****stan semi-final then - should be interesting!

You can't get better than that - Punter scoring a (his last WC) ton and losing 😀

What's the prediction for tomorrow? England either to get battered or win a nailbiter, can't decide

CMJ and Vaughan have started on the "if he can get to 75...."
So someone will be out in a minute.

Morgan just dropped again...

Ride the luck chaps

Apparently it's a slow wicket so the score is about par.

It's not looking all that par right now - we need some wickets. Mind you at least the attitude as an England supporter has changed a bit - we always used to expect them to mess it up whenever they were looking good, but nowadays there's at least an equal chance of them miraculously pulling it off when all looked lost.

well this is pretty depressing; sri-lanka cruising to a 10 wicket win 🙁 looks like england couldn't buy a wicket at the moment.

Wow... stunning performance from Sri Lanka! Definite firm favourites for my money (in fact, there's already £20 of mine riding on 'em, placed at the start of the tournament 🙂 )

I feel slightly happier about Australia's exit now... at least we put up some sort of fight! 😆 That was a proper humping of England by Sri Lanka eh? 😯

England are knackered psychle, mainly from battering you lot earlier this year.

I really hope India win now.

Well that was fun while it lasted. Will be following the rest of it though - I hope ****stan win just because they are quite mental and unpredictable.

NP - this one seems ok.

Shame the game is in such a small stadium - I expected a better atmosphere after all the hype, crowd seem a bit quiet.

I was in Germany just after their 1990 World Cup victory and was hoping to see a nation celebrating.

They weren't. Miserable ****ers.
