numpty XTR GS Derailleur question

Can a GS XTR Shadow Derailleur be used with a triple chain ring setup? I know they say it can’t but will it work.

Will the only problem be that you can’t get all the gears?

It’ll be fine, as long as you’ve got a boggo set up (no huge chainrings…) then you’ll probably get all the gears no probs

yep it works absolutely fine

It’ll depend on some things actually, you may find you rip the mech in half when you go big/big, or it’ll be slack in small/small. If you can live with the risk that’ll happen then it will be fine!
