UPDATE: We’ve decoupled user accounts from the Ultimate Member system that was causing the slowness so the site should start to be quicker for users with big forum histories. We have some work still to do on profiles and displaying a users forum history within profiles. The 503 errors were down to a bug fix that didn’t work. That was the emoji bug. We are working with VIP support to find a fix for the lack of emojis. To be clear on that, we didn;t remove emojis. They stopped workling when we moved servers for ‘reasons’.

I’ve posed this before I think but,

Dark mode, desktop.  Editor dialogue boxes (link, image) display with white text on a white background. Both editors.

Also is “fancy editor” and non-fancy editor now just two different versions of the same thing?

Hi everyone, yes currently typed emojis should work now, sorry its not the complete set, that is now the next issue that i’m trying to solve, I have a few ideas that I’m currently in the process of testing, sorry for the delay with this issue, hopefully it will be fixed soon.

I’m also looking into the forum topics and replies displaying in your profile, the reason this was deactivated was for speed reasons and I am currently working with the company to fix the issue.

Out of interest, what’s causing all these breakages? Is it custom STW code or stuff one or many vendors is supplying for you or running on your behalf?

Re seeing your Forum history – if you click your user name in a post it takes you to a different user profile page.

You can’t see topics you started but you can view topics you’ve replied to.

EDIT – seems you can see what you’ve replied to – but not click through to it! 🙂

Once again I’ve just cleared IOS Safari data and signed back in, this has been ongoing for a week or so. My iPad is fine with Safari

I’m getting unwanted notifications because I’ve been autosubscribed to the “Is all alright with tj” thread. I uncheck the “notify me of follow-up replies” box, but it immediately re checks itself!

Can we no longer message other forum members or am I just doing it wrong?

I’m not going to renew my subscription next time – there’s no point!

Ola, had a snag last night. Found myself logged out and when I tried to log in an ‘incorrect password’ error.

Went through the password reset process, issue persisted. Just been able to log in this AM.

Just an FYI.

Yesterday evening on my android tablet I could not log in.

Changed the password twice, stored in a password manager, pasted in and told “incorrect password”.  Oddly, it also seemed to be auto clicking the login button after the password was inserted. I did try clearing data in the browser but that made no difference.

This morning logged in with no issue on my phone inserting the password from the same password manager, no auto-click.

Both times in Chrome on Android but different devices.

Just posting thanks the Anthony anthonyweighell for all the effort trying to fix all this.

Like many I’m pretty keen to see the “forums” link come back in my profile. Missing that makes the forum pretty useless as a method of communication.

and do we need to see every individual post listed in notifications. That really dies cause bloat. It would be so much better to see just a list with last updated threads, rather than every post.

I know this isn’t a one to one thread for sorting personal account issues but I’m sure one of the people reading can answer my question.

Are all paying subscribers seeing ads?

I just want to know if it’s a forum wide problem and I should just put up with it and wait for a system fix, or if it’s linked to individual account issues and I should try and deal with it.

I’m not seeing adverts on any device – all Apple devices if that helps.
