new wheels

Hi All, just about to do the Cape Epic on my Trek 9.8 Carbon, it has got Bontrager Hubs and DT SWISS 4.1 rims, not happy with the wheels, dont have loads of cash to throw at the bike, anyone got any suggestions? I was thinking of HOPE PR02 with DT SWISS 4.2’S, going to run tubeless…. thx in advance

Bontrager make good wheels, the top end ones are Bontrager branded DT Swiss hubs as well, what don’t you like about yours?

Whats wrong with the wheels?

Is there much diff between 4.1 & 4.2?

Get a wheelbuilder to give them a once over?

You could do worse than the wheels hornet600 is flogging on the classifieds – I’d make him an offer if they weren’t centrelock.
