i like the helium filled tubes and tyres so you can extra air.

It is the ape-hanger handle bars i don’t think i’ll get the hang of, but the bottle holder and rain canopy are a nice touch…

The ampersand shaped axle path looks promising.

As much a fan as I am of Cotic, I can’t help but be a bit dissapointed with this press release. No pic, no details. Surely Transition should have something to day about the name (which is a bit dull).

I can only hope its not all black. Black bikes are boring. Bring back custard!!

I was very impressed with the use of carbon flexures ,a true maintaince free vpp design

Ideally, should snap in half a bit less too but it seems like Cy’s learned all he needed to learn on that subject already tbh

Bit unfair that I think… Took several uplift days, a week in france and a downhill race before mine went, and there’s plenty still scooting around on the original part.

Full spec list from the newsletter:

– Slack, low geometry: 66.5 degree head angle/13.3″ BB height with 150mm Fox Float installed
– Designed for use with 140, 150 and 160mm forks.
– Front triangle constructed from Reynolds 853, swingarm 7005-T6 aluminium, seatstay/shock strut in cromoly, droplink is 1 piece CNC’d 7075-T6.
– 7.3lb frame weight including Fox RP23 shock.
– 44mm standard head tube, designed around zero stack top/external cup bottom for taper steerer compatibility.
– 31.6mm seatpost size for dropper seatpost compatibility, and hose clips for remotes under the top tube.
– ISCG05 mounts.
– Syntace X-12 142 x 12mm rear through axle.
– Loads of tyre clearance. Easily runs with Maxxis 2.5″ DH tyres in the rear end.
– Regular 73mm threaded BB shell.
– 15mm pivot axles on both main pivot and Droplink pivots combine with massively stiff 35mm steel seat tube to lock the back end to the front triangle for maximum handling precision.
– Shock options will include Fox Float RL, Fox RP23 Kashima, and custom tuned BOS Vip’r.
