Hoping to have a ride at Nant yr Arian on the way down  Pembrokeshire on Friday.  What’s the situation with regards to fallen trees after storm Darragh and is it worth stopping?.

According to their FB page all the trails are closed.

Even if the mtb trails themselves were clear, the fire roads are not so you won’t currently be able to access them.  You could potentially do loops from the car park and ride High as a Kite as the trees there were felled a long time ago so will be clear.  There is potential for the original Italian Job to be clear for the same reasons but getting up the fire road to loop round to High as a Kite may not be possible.  As you are planning on coming on a weekday as well, there will potentially be forestry operations going on clearing the fire roads that you will not want to get in the way of.

    Thanks all.

Was hoping to ride the reaper but it sounds like it won’t be feasible.

Does anyone have any more info on trail closures at Nant yr Arian? The FB page still says closed and was last updated 11 December.

I am passing on Monday 23rd and was hoping to get a pre Christmas ride in.

If, as mentioned above, High as a kite is open then I will be content with a few laps of that instead of the whole trail.
