Well after waiting for the bike to work scheme to appear, which it hasn’t. I was offered this at work yesterday for the small sum of £300.

It’s done 100 miles in the dry and although it needs a different saddle (it’s got my SDG off my Cotic at the moment)it seemed a cheap way over dipping my toe into this roadie thing.

Apart from the handlebars being to narrow, the reach to long, and the brakes in a funny position, it seems OK.

Just feels very alien at the moment but i’m sure i’ll get used to it.

Will give it a go this weekend see what its like.

Which leaves a new on-one rigid fork to sell and a couple of hope hubs plus some new spesh fatboys/tubes if anybody is interested.

I’ll get them on the classifieds ASAP

P S have a proper roadie seat you can borrow weighs about the same as a postage stamp and has the padding qualities of concrete interested????

Might be, I’m assuming after all these years of finding the ideal seat for my MTB (SDG Bel Air) that i’m going to have to start again with a roadie seat.

Do you still fancy that light kit?

Vortex just stay off the spandex and lycra as I don’t think the sheep up riviy and Graham and myself couldn’t handle such a sight !

You just concentrate on getting that kitchen tap sorted.

I promise not to wear lycra when out with you lads.

BTW Duncan just txt me and he will be in on monday. Not good news but at least Gemma is OK.

turn your bars up, that stem looks short and the frame small so it probably FEELS long rather than actually being too long. Compared to mountainbike
    Enjoy

Frame looks big to me given the seat post extension? Don’t you catch your knackers whenever you stop at junctions etc
