Out in the Caribbean so no access to live sport today, but I was following the match on live txt. We really can beat anybody on our day.

The thrashing of our A team in the WI is much more worrying.

^ Lions bowling was ok – only one top six WI batsman from the top six exceeded 16; it was just the not uncommon calypso collapso of the tail. Hardly thrashing territory.

Not today, but the whole series, especially the tests.

Yup; they didn’t shower themselves in glory & lost the battle of the spin. As a Somerset fan, I’m glad our spin twins got some pre-season action, but given how we’re under scrutiny from the pitch on the last match of the season, I doubt there’ll be much for them at home this year.

Drlex – I’m more of a whisky man, but I bring back my missus rum. She is a fan of Chairman’s Reserve from St Lucia. I was going to visit the distillery on my day off, but it was closed sundays, so we went for a 4hr offshore paddle board trip instead.
