Off to start a “What size XX chainring for Mayhem” thread.

There was plenty of room when I was there an hour ago.

I’ll be back in the morning, as I’m relatively local.

I’m not liking the look of the grassy sections – can someone go round and scrape it off please?

That thru the campsite grassy climb is soul destroying

Its a well known fact that everyone loves grassy climbs…

Damn it!! The year I can’t do it and it’s blimmin nice. Hope it’s a good one.

Doubletrack, grass, doubletrack. A couple of bits of Singletrack that are fun at speed.

It’s a load better than last year – the dryness helps but more importantly the climbs aren’t silly. With what is available it’s good – it’ll be extremely fast in places.

We are camped overlook a beautiful valley and a lot of red faces riders gurning up the final climb into the campsite.

What a lovely way to spend an evening!

Sunrise lap was special

Looked great from across the valley at midnight, bike lights twinkling in the woods, the downhill bits looked quite quick! Wished I wasn’t working and was doing MM instead, crappy organisation when you only live 1 mile away

It’s currently tight at the top of the solo men and there’s a couple of minutes between the top two pro men’s teams.

Awesome course this year. Was able to ride/climb four of my five laps. Really enjoyed it, but crikey it’s hot!

I’m about to start sorting though 3000 odd photos..

Really enjoyed the course, all rideable but still tough over multiple laps, good mix of climbs & descents with lots if overtaking places. Of course the weather played a big part.

Heard rumours this might be the last one 🙁
