Sounds a really obvious question but I’ve used a torque wrench and followed the manual’s instructions and ensured they are tightened to the required tension 18 newtons…I’ve made sure the bolts have equal spacing either side but after about 2 miles of biking, the lowest link is proper loose – can be wobbled back and forth and when you pick the bike up, the back end drops noticeably.
So I now ride around with a ratchet and the tools to remove the topcaps, keep the linkage in place and tighten the bolts…but it’s getting properly annoying now as it’s ever ride and now more than 1 stop on the bike.
I’ve tried some threadlock on the threads and still nothing…what else can I try to ensure the suspension stays tight and doesn’t work loose…
Thanks.
