Has anyone stumbled across these in stock anywhere? – all my usual online suspects seem to be out of stock till late March

    Cheers

Yep had the same e-mail…anyone noticed the massive price hike in them. I’m sure I paid about £17-18 last time they were available.

    I had that email too.
Wiggle were saying early feb so I pre-ordered – now changed to mid feb. £20 iirc.
They better be as good as everyone says – I’ve perseviered with heavy bonty hardcases waiting for the Kylions to become available again.

Wiggle currently seem to be the cheapest – ProBikeKit had them at £15 each a couple of months ago, ran out of stock, now showing at £25 or something.

I was wondering about the Speediums for a tenner, but I’ve been so please with the puncture resistance on the Krylions

    Dont believe the hype.

I think that is shocking. Double the price! Demand seems to be really high for them though. Its been like that for months call me a cynic but I think the shops may be cashing in.

I will stick with my Schwalbe blizzards I think they were 9.99 each, done around 2k on them since October.

I bought some Ultremos recently they were well cheaper than Krylions 😕

    Keep your Michelins.

The way I heard it last summer was that Krylions ar emade on the same machinery as the Pro Race 2’s and subsequently he Pro Race 3’s. As these were just coming out production of the Krylions ceased so they could make as many PR3’s as possible.

Seems they’ve gone back into production of Krylions but also hiked the price up at the same time. Seen as Pro Race 3’s are about the same price but also offer better puncture protection than their predecessors does it not seem like Michelin are producing like tyres. Something light, fast, grippy and with a certain amount of puncture protection.

    Just my thoughts (rant over)

Wiggle just emailed me to say they’ve been dispached. Just in time for the snow and ice melting.
