I’ll add the WTB Verdict to your examples – it is a brilliant UK front tyre in the light/high grip version:

I had a tough/high grip one on the front briefly, bloody hell that was hard graft to pedal around.

I assume you had them on an eeb or DH bike?

Nah, just a normal 170mm bike. I don’t really notice the differences in tyres rolling speeds, just buy them for grip and get on with it on that bike
