Mavic MTech 5 set up help

Ok so just about to stick this on the bike but how far down the spoke from the rim should I put the magnet? Nice looking bit of kit but instructions are a bit crap and as for ‘download a detailed version from Mavic.com’ I wish!

i assume there is a sensor to mount on the QR or fork? in which case align the magnet with where the sensor is. Range should be enough anywhere on the front wheel.
