Should i buy an 08 model?

I have heard good and bad regarding these forks, but am in 2 minds whether to get them as i like the adjustable travel (going on my only bike to cover all disciplines) and the fact that they have a 3 year warranty.

Or should i just stick to 36 vans???

(Frame is an Intense SS by the way)

I run the 07 models and they are the bees knees, not the lightest of forks in the world but I love em, smooth as silk in action and the set up options means that you can tune them up and dial them in to suit your preferences. I love mine. I’d suggest picking up some of the 07’s and having them serviced if I were you 🙂

Not a bad fork but they can be maintenance heavy at times. If you can work on forks yourself then it is worth a go. My pair have had the cartiges blow (nearly all 07did this) and have been fixed. Been working well for 4 to 5 months and have now started to do the travel wind down on DHs. Will have to have em apart again. Don’t pay more than 200 quid for a second hand pair as they are not an easy fork to sell. Even if you don’t get on with the air internals you should be able to fit the 66rc2x coil internal to make a very nice fork
