I’ve had a couple of mtb long sleeve jerseys from DHB for about 3-4 years now,. they’ve been worn a lot and are still my go to mtb jersey. They’re still bobble free and don’t stink. They’re made of (mostly) Lyocel/Tencel, which apparently is derived from wood pulp, and is incredible soft against the skin, the material also seems to shrug off the odd bramble attack and occasional bike ‘off’.
After a quick google, it seems that Rab and 7mesh both sell a similar jersey to my DHB, made from similar fabrics.
So, my question is: If Lyocel (brand name is Tencel) is so good, why don’t we hear brands talking about it much?
