Yeah but Junkyard, I really can’t see why you would suggest I have been baiting or hounding Drac. I think he has made some poor modding decisions influenced by his world view, but I haven’t really been going for him at all.
Even the main issue I remember about his use of certain terminology was politely argued, from my point. I’m not just being churlish. I was honestly quite surprised to see you thought there was history and at the way you portrayed it. I don’t remember any other particular issues with outed mods,other than with Cougar on another race issuue, but actually I usually have quite a positive view of Cougar. Which is why I tend to be surprised if he let’s stuff like the Saville post go, others are secretive and some seem to have poorer judgement, but Cougar is usually well measured and can justify his decisions. So i think its unfair to make the claim that my approach is what drives mods underground. I happen to think if you make judgements in this arena from such a position, them you should be able to justify them and be called on them.

How about we all just count to 3 and flounce together into the sunset.

Your other post makes a lot of sense mate.

As one of the protagonists in this thread I cannot say I am proud off some of the posts I made.

That said, they were at most heavily sarcastic. Never full of of foul language and the like. Even then I only replied in such a way to people that that were genuinely verbally abusive to me.

Fighting fire with fire is not something I am proud of. I felt there was just no other option when faced with such an onslaught. That said I could have simply walked away…

In summary:

Op does not have to pay Lings punitive fees. Quite rightly.

Ling will have to get her paperwork sorted. Rather than lying about it already being sorted and legal.

Ling simply won’t ever admit to shady business practice, which is just an admission of bad practice in another form.

Unless it goes to court I would say “the thread got there in the end.”
