The 28 year old Sandwich Jr asked if he could bring one of his nursing home clients in for Christmas dinner.

    Might be tough to slice?

Or he thinks he is about to come into some money…

I just ofcourse, that’s a lovely thing Todo.

Or he’s got a big announcement to make.

My near-6 year old is fully convinced he’s a superhero-in-training and has asked Santa this year to bring him his superpowers of SuperSpeed and SuperStrength.
Not quite sure how we’re going to achieve that, but my suggestion of a can of red bull did not go down well with my wife.

We’ve also got a version control issue with the Santa letters, so not entirely sure which iteration is current. Thankfully both kids have got relatively modest desires.

Oven has a slow cooking setting. Get the gravy right and the meat just falls off the bone!

For those with kids asking for craft materials, I would plead with you to come up with the goods.

As a kid, all I ever wanted for Christmas was some balsa wood to make models. I asked for it for years (my sisters still go on about it). But did I get any? Did I bo***cks! I would have been chuffed to bits if I had.

It still irks me 40+ years later. So this Christmas, I bought my own!

So please, give them the boxes / card / glue, whatever…

    🙂

Not as heart warming as most entries here but my eldest (15) has 2 or 3 video games on his list. The kicker is that they are all available on the GamePass that he pays for himself every month. All he’s asking for is parental approval to play them as they are rated 16+.. !!

A mate’s son was asked for a box of fish and chips, so he got him some and wrapped it.

My son is 2.5 and would mostly like unrestricted access to the hoover…

My eldest (15) asked for a tracksuit. Easy peasy i thought and cheap!

I am clearly out of touch with the modern tracksuit. Checking online stores everyday for the best part of a week i managed to get the jacket from one place and trousers from another. £180 for both items. Nike tech fleece is expensive gear!

My youngest (4) is getting a truck load of lego…. whether she likes it or not! 😀

Our youngest asked for a ham sandwich when he was 2 – he got one covered with glitter left alongside the remnants Santa’s mince pie – a minor logistical challenge when you have ham-seeking cats! He now expects one every year. Not to be outdone our youngest now asks for a tuna sandwich. I’d settle for two less competitive children!

Our children’s asks have been very modest this year. I was made redundant in September and they have been so very thoughtful. I have to admit – brought me to quiet and private tears.

I’ve asked my grown-up kids either to donate to WBR or give a unit of blood

Suspect it’ll be chocs again, though

Eldest Fazzini-jnr once asked for colouring pencils and lain white paper for Xmas. The following year it was an Xbox, tv, tablet and mobile phone. He got colouring pens instead!🤣

Mini Oddie Number 2 aged approx. 4 asked for toothpaste.

    Funnily enough he got it!

The boy (9) asked for a gaming pc and some Hornby train track. So pretty normal.

The girl (3) has been asked multiple times over the past month what she wants from Santa. Every single time she has never wavered from “a pair of purple socks”.
