Inherited a number of samurai folded steel type chefs knives that I’m looking to off load as they are more knife than I would ever need. They appear to have been purchased from the Japanes Knife Company. Any idea where would be the best place to sell them?

    Seem to be Hattori/ Kin

    Any help appreciated

You might struggle with any online platforms for selling privately  – ebay for instance would be resistant to you listing knives for sale as there needs to be an age verification process for the buyer. Commercial sellers do that by using a courier / mails service that can do an ID check on delivery (same as buying booze by post etc as well)

    Stealth ad on here?

    Actual advert on here?

Facebook? Are there fancy knife selling groups?

There must be some kind of knife nerd/ collector forum with a classified section.

A After years of the collaborative work with the Knife Forums “In the Kitchen” members and the premier knife maker, Mr.Ichiro Hattori, we are proud to introduce our first JCK Original, FH Series Hattori / Forums high end Chef’s knives.

Find the forum that designed the knifes on this link. I’m sure some one would pay well for an expensive knife.

Just out of interest what are you hoping to get for them?

Second hand knife selling is a cut throat business.
