Not in for this but I thought I’d pass by with a not of encouragement and quick anecdote.

I lost a ton of weight 5 years ago with some fairly full on 800 cal dieting. In the last year injury and bit of illness has made me slip a bit and put a little bit back on. I’ve spent September with no alcohol, no sugar and some time restricted eating (10/14) and I’ve dropped 5lbs. I was no big drinker but I’ll probably go back to mild imbibing in October. The no sugar and time restricted eating will stay for the moment I think though – feels good.

I should probably be in. If I stop having breakfasts like this I’ll probably lose some weight

Thanks @coconut – I think I need this as I’ve definitely put weight on since last year! I’ll add myself to the sheet and do the weigh in on Friday 🙂

Maybe get starting waist to height ratio measurements as well and compare at the end.

I am in again, saw this and got on the scales and was a little shocked, I have never been that side of 15st before.

I’ve added my name, had a pretty bad year this year and the weight has really piled on.

    This is timely…

For the first time in a year I’ve stood on some scales. 77kg….. Last year was 69kg.

I guess that is what gorging yourself on all Italy has to offer for the last year does to ones weight.

Weighed in at 87.4kg, slightly down on last week.

The 100 days exercise challenge, being up to Week 6 on C25K and a bit of dietary discipline will hopefully make an 80kg target realistic and attainable.

Some how managed to lose 1kg this week but I think this was due to a pre weigh in dump.
Can’t rely on that every week!

Still 87.4, but at least I’ve not gained anything

Managed to lose a tiny bit this week.
Friday morning certainly focuses the mind the rest of the week!

I find that my electronic scales are inaccurate on first use. They are stored in an upright position, so the first time I step on the scales they read different than the 2nd and 3rd goes which give the same results.

Been on holiday twice in first two weeks – so put on 0.8kg.  Chub Club starts now for me!

0.4kg down for my first week, a good start as I normally take a bit of time for the results to start showing.

Added a bit of timber this week!

Despite a not great week with dieting r the 100 days of exercise, I’ve lost 0.4kg. Unfortunately I’m home alone this weekend and likely to gain it back!

Up from last week. A evening weigh in so should be back to ‘normal’ next week?

Half a kilo this week (weighed in a day late, scales were dead yesterday morning), not disappointed with that as it’s been a stressful week with MrsMomo testing positive for Covid on Monday, I’ve been solo parenting for the week while she tries to isolate. Unfortunately I started to feel bad yesterday and sure enough I’ve now also tested positive for the ‘rona, I’ve been absolutely ravenous for the last 24 hours, if this carries on I doubt I’ll be down again next week, just aiming to not put back on!

I too have a chesty kind of virus, no Covid tests to hand though. I refuse to let it derail my progress.

Went below 100kgs for the first time in ages. But more importantly I dropped a dress size. Thought I saw an ab.

Late to the party but I’m in too. I’ve not been as heavy as I am now for 7 years and it’s got to come off. Combination of head injury, depression and meds has really had me ballooning. 9kg to lose by Christmas which sounds unrealistic but it’s gotta come off.

Not sure what happened this week but I was ill last weekend. Hopefully make up for it next week.

just inputted my figures, i started oct 1st after returning from holiday.  probs about a stone above my fighting weight.  ive always aimed for 2lbs per week previously as that seems to be the recommended ‘safe’ amount to try and lose without fad diets.  its going slower than i expected through no lack of effort.

ive been 2 weeks with no alcohol, only been eating a meal at teatime and still really only about 1lb a week lost.  i go in the gym a few times each week too throwing weights about so im just hoping that its ‘fat turning to muscle’.  who am i trying to kid!  😀

dont know why progress is so slow tho unless im eating more than i thought for that 1 meal.  maybe id have better results having 3 small meals, dunno, but having one larger meal and being hungry all day is my best/favourite way of limiting calories without feeling ‘snacky’.  all or nothing.

see how the next few weeks go.
