Just picked up a 2nd hand Rothan for my nephew. And I can’t be the first person to try and respray one that’s passed through several sets of clumsy little hands?

Does anyone know where I can get hold of some Islabikes Rothan decals?  There’s one seller on ebay doing “ISLABIKES” but in normal sized fonts, not the big text for the downtube, and no Rothan, designed in the UK, etc.

Still going to provide spares etc, just not selling whole bikes.

(As an aside there’s a good interview with Isla Rowntree where this is discussed in the latest Cycling UK mag)

Yep that. They still exist for spares etc so definitely worth contacting them.

If they can’t supply spares, maybe they still have an artwork file that they’d be willing to pass on. Someone reputable like RetroDecals could use that.

Isla was, last I read, running a spares store for them.

    Worth getting in touch.

If Islabike can’t supply them then I bet https://www.indibike.co.uk/ can

You could try Argos cycles, in case they have the artwork on file.

Tried Isalabikes, they can’t / won’t supply decals or the files.

Indievelo only have the conc decals, which have the same issue as the ebay ones.

Time to fire up inkscape and the cricut and get tinkering with fonts I think.

just put their favorite cartoon character on it .

wont quite have  the same resale but then a home spray job rarely works wonders for that anyway.

You may struggle with the other details but if you can manage with just the logo – do this…

On Islabikes website > right click the logo > Save image as > then choose where to save the image.

The logo on the website is in SVG format which to any decal printer is fully scalable and editable.
