Nah – best war film ever title goes to either ‘Tae Guk Gi’ – South Korean film about two brothers

Yes. Someone else who’s seen it!

I recommend it to everyone. It’s a little more glossy than some war films. A bit Hollywood (despite being Korean!), but what an excellent movie and fantastic storyline.

The Duelists. Not war movie as such, more a story set in war. Looks good too…

We were soldiers. Absolutely epic tale told from the perspective of an American war photographer in Vietnam.
Also based on real events and the book written by the photographer.

Got it on DVD ages ago, still not watched it! Must do very soon.

Not to say most of the previously mentioned aren’t great but Mosquito Squadron and Battle of Britain too. And Bridge Over The River Quai (sp)

MASH the series >>>>>>>> MASH the movie.

My vote would go to Platoon or the above MASH series.
