did you used to get a lot more than 9 years for Rape and GBH ?

That’s what I thought when I read the story. Nasty pieces of work and chucking caustic soda over her was really evil.

IIRC whats makes it even worse is that it will be only 4.5 years before they are allowed to apply for parole. On top of that they’ll have any time on remand included as well. Probably be out in under 4 years.

I heard this on the radio on the way home this evening. Totally dumbfounded. 😈

The only thing that disgusted and outraged me more than the actions of those so called human beings was the woefully short sentences. 😯

How is that justice?

My only hope is the the prosecution will appeal.
