I hate my hob. takes an age to get warm and then once its warm takes even longer to cool down. so stuff either gets stuck cos I become inpatient waiting a era to get hot. Or I get it nice and hot and then start cooking so turn it down but because it takes an era to cool down it cooks unevenly.
DG I was considering it. If you have a flat course near you then I could chose one near me and we could compare. They are unlikely to be the same though, so I was thinking some kind of handicap race type system. Maybe putting in a series of times and the winner is the person who improves most over the weeks…
“Yes, yes Mr Cavendish, I understand that you’re possibly the best sprinter of all time… but I’ve improved at a far greater rate than you in the last 6 months so I think you’ll find I’m the quicker rider”
OK, not gone crazy on my iDave diet day off, I’ve bike commuted everyday as per normal, been MTBing 4 days a week, started running (me! running! FFS!), been pretty religious on the diet and drank water like a fish: I’ve lost naff all weight for 3 weeks.

😀
I think it’s a great idea. I estimate my initial time for a 10 mile flat course will be 232 minutes.

Wha gwan?
Oh Lordy!, be praised.
We’ve found you !.
You are the one !.
The one person for whom, the iDave diet won’t work………
Mr Cavendish, I understand that you’re possibly the best sprinter of all time
so good we had to put intermediate sprints in so you would be able to maintain the green jersey and even contact with the peleton as the race went up hill.

It’s a proposal. And most of us are not Cavendish.
