Website says Singletrack is top of the range, Humvee is same price? Looks similar?

    Which to get??

I've got both. The Singletrack is better in my opinion. The Humvees rip quite easily in comparison.

go Gore or ANOther if you want properly made stuff, IMHO.
some of my mates have altura and seem very happy with them.

I have both and the difference is with the pad, as stated above. The Singletracks are always my first choice if both are clean and they are much more robust. MT500s are lighter and a bit cooler if it is really warm.

Got both. Humvees have a removable liner short which is not much use. Singletrack much better, cleaner look, less to snag.

I like the hummvees (3/4 ones for me), though I don't normally wear the click-fast liner short (basically a black pair of cycling shorts. I wear 34" jeans and a large humvee fits great, though you definitely wouldn't want the liner short to be any smaller. The liner feels like it comes up a little smaller than the short itself.
The zyme shorts are also good if you like a short that looks a little more fabric looking if you know what I mean.
You can also get some Altura mahem shorts free (rrp £45) if you subscribe to what mountain bike at the moment, if that floats your boat.

Singletrack outers are excellent, comfortable and offer a bit of protection if you come off I find. I'm out of love with the inners though, pretty cheap and shonky, the pad is a big lump of foam. wear the outers with some decent lycra and you will be mint.

I actually prefer Humvees… 🙂 More of the waistband is elasticated so they fit better without needing either the crappy belt that they come with or the fairly useless and non-removable belt-a-like bits on the Singletracks that don't have very much adjustment and come loose all the time.

Singletrack shorts don't come with a liner and are MASSIVE so get the size down from what you would normally get – I use medium humvees but the small singletrack is still a weeny bit larger than I'd like.

the sizing is pants. one of my pairs clearly a 34" the other a 32" they are both large 🙄 bloody endura sizing.

humvees soak up water, single tracks do a good job of repelling it. ST every time.

my zymes unstiched recently and had to take them to dry cleaners to get stiched up – they are not that old. Also cut of the elastic waistband and use a belt. aprt from that they a pretty good fit/cut!
