There’s a bike (etc) shop near me which will resell your old gear, and take a cut. Excellent I thought, shift some stuff and the shop gets a cut, which I’m completely happy with.

I left an old Singular Swift with them, with a reasonable price, for which it sold about a week later. They’ve got a pair of climbing ice axes too, which I don’t believe have sold yet.

This was almost 2 months ago and the funds haven’t made their way into my account, despite polite requests. I’ve already had the ‘We do the banking on a Friday so I’ll do it then’ as well as ‘I was out of the country and broke my phone’s excuses.

How much longer should I wait before I start to make a public fuss on social media (they have a presence) or before I threaten small claims etc?

I’m half tempted to head over in person to suggest I’ll take payment in stock (I could do with a set of tubeless inserts and a couple of gravel tyres..)
