Hope Brakes Question

Just a quick one, will last years levers work with the new tech x2 calipers?. and on shimano i know theres a brass bush that needs to be changed when you shorten the hose on the brakes, is this the same with hope?

they run on different fluids not sure if this will make a differance. are they ebay bargins?

There is a brass olive on Hope hoses, earlier ones were split and re-usable, the latest ones need replacing. You can swap between this years and last years with no problem, but you can’t mix with Shimano as the fluids are incompatible and will destroy the seals.

well I’ve just switched the my tech x2 levers onto old m4 calipers and they seem to work fine so I guess that’s a yes. the old mono levers are now working the tech x2 calipers equally well.

Blazin, are you selling the old levers and calipers on the bay? i’m watching a set there now.
