Sektor solo air with RLT Moco DNA- no oil leaks etc etc. In the “carpark” the fork works fine and dandy.

However no matter what I adjust on anything vaguely rocky they packdown fast and/or become like a bloody pogo.

Would it help if I turned them coil?

    (I’m 95kg’s if it helps).

    🙂

    [edit]

(at the whole ‘hora’s new forks’ situation, not at the fact that you’re unhappy with them)

If they are packing down then the rebound is not working or its not working fast enough for you fatty.

    Pressure?
    Sag?
    Moco Settings?

When were they last serviced? Sounds like too little oil or when seals gone as when heating up they lose the control. I’d be whipping them apart to check everything is ok.

Can’t do the 5th mate, unfortunately. Whats your plan? Up Llanberris and down the Ranger?

With some forks that work, obviously 😉

It’s not the fork. It’s the frame. It’s always the frame. 🙂

You’ve not seen my latest frame. My word it rocks/sick/trick/schnizzel/thang (etc)

    Its the latest in pivot/frame material-tech 8)

08 Patriot with DSP Dueller/ti spring. Weighs the same as my meta 5. Had it two months now 🙂

So an old heavy dh frame weighs sane as your am frame?

He’s right – apparently the old meta 5 weighs 8lbs as does a patriot

Yep. Its not far off fancy 140mm frames. Crackers. Stick an air shock in and it loses 1/2lb. Hence you have a burly Five with geo adjust
