In these days of house based fun I need to hang a dart board off a door.

I need some sort of bracket that will slip over the top of the door enabling me to hang the board and surround.

    Criteria:

    1. I cannot put any holes in the door.

    2. It has to be put-away-able.

    3. I don’t want anything free standing.

Surely such a thing exists. Just a simple thin sheet metal hook will do it, but I’m buggered if I can find one.

    Go!

What sir requires is a wreath hanger. Straighten out the bend, drill a couple of holes and screw onto the dart board..

    Thanks,

I needed to search on hook, not bracket!

Will not edit though as someone else may well be hanging a dartboard on an interior door.

It is for the kids, so i’ll need to hang a sheet of MDF behind the board too!

In that case take the door down and screw plywood with a hole for a pee bucket and food hatch (small enough to keep kids in room), if your gonna self isolate do it right.

If you can’t put holes in the door do not attach a dart board to it.

I put a dart board on the ceiling once but it made me throw up.

A next door neighbour once did this. Less than a day later I was ready to murder them. The door turns into a large drum and that sound really does carry.

If you want to annoy your neighbours then crack on.

boys and darts. You can put mdf on the door all you like. You will find holes in the frame, the walls either side, the ceiling, their feet…

You can get coat hangers that hook over the top of the door, you could hang your dart board and wooden sheet from the coat hooks

Put a tack on the top of the frame out of site. Not on the door
