I, along with the rest of the planet, haven’t met up with my mates for well over a year now. Normally we’d do a weekend at stiniog, either camping or in pods nearby.
With COVID restrictions we can’t all sleep in a big bell tent or share pods, so it’s back to individual tents and some sort of open air shelter to huddle under (bell tent with its skirt lifted and no groundsheet?).
Anyone know of a campsite in the Forest of Dean that might be suitable? The camp guards at a C&CC site would go apoplectic if we rocked up wanting to sprawl like that. I’m thinking: chilled farm site, possibly with a river to throw ourselves in, probably around early June. Ideas please.
